Grade 4 Band

This performing group is open to all 4th grade students. Students will learn basic music reading skills, coordination, and proper playing technique for all brass, percussion and woodwind instruments.

 

Students will have the opportunity to play in their own very special Beginner Concert in the late spring.

 

Students will be provided with one weekly lesson, beginning in the fall. In addition, students will also receive one weekly group before school rehearsal, beginning in the spring.

Grade 5 Band

​

This performing group is open to all 5th grade students. Students will learn new and more advanced skills, technique and music.

 

The 5th Grade Band will perform at the Winter and Spring Concerts, as well as the Memorial Day Parade in Bethpage!

 

Students will be provided with one weekly lesson as well as one weekly before school rehearsal with Dr. Petruzzi.

 

Rehearsals will be held in the All -Purpose Room on Wednesday mornings at 8:10am.
